Decision making comes with plenty of questions. It makes sense; you want to be certain that you’re getting exactly what you want before you draw up a contract with any supplier. That’s why we thought it might be helpful to let you know the questions we most frequently get asked, and answer them too.

FAQ #1: Why shouldn’t I use a cheap online print company?

Do you know how the cheaper companies keep their costs down? They batch your work in with other customers’ jobs and run it all off in one go. And that means they’ll compromise on the quality of the materials and the print itself. When you pay less, you end up frustrated with embarrassing mistakes in the artwork and the print. Evolution handles the entire procedure; we’ll handpick the right material and printing process for your job. The result? We don’t make silly mistakes.

FAQ #2: What’s the right process for my job?

That depends on the ins and outs of the job. Generally, web and litho are used for larger quantities and digital for the smaller print runs. The deadline, the required distribution and even the material and finishing you’re after will all have a bearing on the process we use, too. But the important thing to remember is that you’ll get exactly what you want from Evolution, following our thorough consultation at the start of the process.

FAQ #3: Can I use my own artwork?

OF COURSE you can! If you’ve got your own in-house designer or a freelancer you trust on hand to do the design, that’s brilliant. Just give us the files and we’ll take it from there. But if you’re not sure where to start when it comes to the artwork, we can guide you from the very beginning. We’ll work with your design team throughout to make sure that when it comes to the final print, everything runs smoothly.

FAQ #4: Why should I trust Evolution with my print job?

Our hands-on approach to every aspect of print is pretty unusual. With four decades of experience behind us, we understand all the processes and technologies involved in printing. We’re a small, cohesive team who’ve been working together all these years so we know how to draw on each other’s expertise to do the job right.
